Hi there! Welcome. My name is Mackenzie and I am a designer.

I love all things design.

For me, there is nothing more important than striking that balance between beauty and functionality. Every good design needs to be usable, but there is always an opportunity to turn even the mundane into a work of art.

​

I get a lot of my design influence from the places I’ve lived. I’ve been fortunate enough to spend time in various states across the US, but I would say my greatest influence comes from the few years I spent in Tokyo, Japan before college. I am still in awe of how the Japanese people combine their rich history and traditions with modern technology- I find that juxtaposition so inspirational, even now, living in North Carolina.

I received my BFA in Interior Architecture with a minor in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

I currently live in Charlotte, NC with my husband and our English bulldog, Gambino.
